Post Graduation (I Have TIME Now??)

I am no longer a college student.

I have a degree.

An actual, professional, real degree.

And I have moved back in with my parents.

So that's been what's been going on in my life lately. It's been extremely weird to be back home with my family and know that I never have to take another class again (unless I go to grad school, which I don't want to think about right now). I don't think it will fully hit me until fall semester starts and I don't go back to classes. It's already been an adjustment, going from a student working three jobs to having a full week off to do nothing.

I start a new serving job today, and the plan for the summer is to save up as much money as possible, look into entry level positions or internships in the publishing industry, and, as always, WRITE. I struggled to write a lot my last year in school because I was always so busy. Even setting a goal to write one hundred words a day was too much, when I had been up since five in the morning for one job, went to class, worked another job, and finally wrapped up my homework close to midnight. I hardly even got to read this school year, which is saying a lot coming from someone who is known to read a book a day.

Having ample time (maybe not ample, but hopefully you get what I'm trying to say) to read and write, these two things that I have never not done, is one of the things I have been most looking forward to after graduation, and I am so excited that the time has finally come. I have so many projects in mind that I'm excited to share, and even more excited to have the TIME to share them!
